Researchers from MIT infiltrated some 'COVID skeptic' groups and found that skeptics place a high premium on data analysis and empiricism. https://arxiv.org/2101.07993.pdf

"Most fundamentally, the groups we studied believe that science is a process, and not an institution."

In English we have a word for people who place a 'high premium on data analysis and empiricism' and believe the 'scientific method' is a 'process'.

That word is SCIENTIST.

So MIT find that lockdown skeptics are scientists motivated by a desire to make better decisions for their families and for their communities.

All while highlighting lockdown proponents as those who use pseudoscience to justify ideologically driven superstitions.
