Camacho American Barrel Aged Toro Cigar Review

This 6x50 stick features a dark chocolate toothy rustic wrapper with a very light soft pack, minimal veins, stretch marks here and there, tight seams, oily feel, large double cap and pungent musty wood and cocoa aroma. First light reveals a good draw and smoke production showing a medium-full body with flavors of a sweet zingy wood and earth combo leaving a fairly long light finish. The first third burns perfectly putting off thick rich smoke with a unique flavor combo of a deep syrupy sweet caramel and charred wood that lightens up on the finish. This is not a cigar gimmick. Whatever production process they are using, it does effect flavors in a positive way. The 1/2 way point comes at 30 minutes holding the same profile. Ending at 1:05 the last third burns perfectly dropping the ash in 1" chunks, changing flavors to a sweet creamy woody earth both on the draw and finish.
