Accident live

My friend regular driver on Mumbai-Pune Expressway and drive almost twice a week and use turn indicators very generously. This accident happened when I was driving towards Pune at around 8:15 AM in Bhor ghat exactly near Lonavala exit.

If you have ever driven on Mumbai-Pune Expressway them you will know that heavy vehicles occupy all 3 lanes in Bhor ghat and Small vehicles are forced to use any lane which is available. Similar thing happened with me. I used the last lane to overtake the tata ace and tanker which were driving in first and second lane. Then I switched to second lane and came again yo first lane to overtake the trucks which were ahead of me in second and third lane.

When I came to first lane the tanker truck hit my rear passenger door and the car toppled at the passenger side. Luckily no one was injured in this accident and myself and my passenger came out without any scratches.

Police and emergency services helped a lot as the accident happened in front of police. Truck driver did not run away and was there till the car was towed.

We were lucky enough to escape such an accident without any scratches as we both were wearing seatbelts. Seatbelts saved our lives.

My WagonR's front bumper got damaged and left side doors got damaged as well. Right passenger door where the impact occurred was replaced later in insurance claim rest everything was repaired in my friend zero depreciation insurance cover.
