Outspoken Calgary Pastor, Artur Pawlowski, has continuously defied Covid-19 restrictions to serve his church members on the basis of constitutionally guaranteed rights under Section 2 to peacefully assemble and religion. After the Alberta Health Services (AHS) obtained a Court of Queen's Bench Order, police said, “Artur Pawlowski and Dawid Pawlowski have been arrested and charged with organizing an illegal in-person gathering, including inciting or inviting others to attend an illegal public gathering.”

Police said Pawlowski “chose to ignore requirements for social distancing, mask wearing and reduced capacity limits for attendees," going ahead with the event today before being arrested.

AHS officials used the order earlier to seize the Whistle Stop Café in Mirror, Alberta, on Wednesday in advance of a planned anti-lockdown protest mentioned by Adam Skelly of Adamson Barbecue in a recent interview with Bright Light News. The protest went ahead today with RCMP officers ticketing those leaving the event and arresting owner, Chris Scott.

A fund has been created by RebelNews to help Pawlowski at www.saveartur.com.
