Spend a Weekly Food Budget Under £20 & How to Make Baked Sticky Honey Chicken

I'm going to show you how to spend a weekly food budget under £20 at LIDL supermarket & to make a healthy dinner recipe baked sticky honey chicken. If you would like to try out this recipe I've added it below:

Ingredients
Sticky Honey Sauce:
2 tbsp paprika
1 cup honey
4-6 cloves of garlic
3 tbsp light soy sauce
1/8 tsp black pepper
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tbsp hot water

14 pieces of chicken thighs, skinless
1 tbsp paprika
1/8 tsp black pepper
1 onion, chopped
1 pepper, any colour, chopped
1 courgette, chopped
5 white potatoes, cut in wedges
5 sweet potatoes, cut in wedges
2 tbsp paprika, add 1 tbsp each on the potatoes
1/8 tsp sea salt, per tray of potatoes
1/8 tsp black pepper, per tray of potatoes
4 tbsp olive oil, add 2 tbsp per tray on the potatoes

Mozarella Salad
1 bag of mozarella, diced in small squares
6 cherry tomatoes, diced small
1/2 cucumber, diced small
lemon juice, optional
sprinkle of black pepper
sprinkle of sea salt
1/2 tsp olive oil, to drizzle

Recipe
Firstly turn on the oven to 180c - 200c
Grab a small bowl, chop the garlic, then place in the bowl with the honey, soy sauce, paprika, black pepper & stir until coated
Grab a large bowl, place the chicken inside, then pour the sauce all over & give it a stir through until coated.
Place cling film over the chicken, marinate in the fridge 30 mins to 1 hour or overnight. While marinating, peel the sweet & white potatoes, then chop them all in wedges, any shape you like.

Once all chopped, add the olive oil in the oven tray, then add the potatoes in, use 2 trays if needed. Add paprika, black pepper & sea salt, then coat all together. Put in the oven to roast for 30-40 minutes.

While cooking in the oven, grab the bowl of chicken out the fridge. Add olive oil in the oven tray, now add the chicken in the tray spread around, use another tray if needed.

Chop all the vegetables, the onions, courgette & peppers then add with the chicken.
Put the chicken in the oven to cook for 45 - 50 mins until cooked through no pink bits.

Check on the potatoes half way through the cooking to turn them over, add extra olive oil if needed.

Grab a bowl, chop the mozarella, tomatoes & cucumbers place them all in the bowl, then add the black pepper, sea salt, olive oil & stir all together. Add more seasoning if needed.

Check on the potatoes cook until soft & golden brown, leave to cook further if needed.

Once the chicken is cooked through & the sauce has thickened take out the oven. If the sauce is still liquid, add 1 tbsp of cornflour with 1-2 tbsp of water mix together. Then add in the sauce & stir, then place back in the oven to cook for an extra 10 minutes. Ready to serve & enjoy your dinner meal.
