Iran Definitely Isn't Holding US Prisoners for Ransom a la 2016, California Releasing 63,000 Felons

"Checkmate Right Wingers!!! The AP clearly says that there are no hostages/prisoners being held for ransom or exchange, that's just fake news."

That's what a child who cannot parse an article by themselves might think. But I'm old enough to remember pallets of cash on a runway in the dead of night in the dying days of the Obama Administration. Also, an admission of there being open negotiation helps.

Gavin Newsom, the current California Governor/Failure, is releasing 63,000 violent felons on "good time" credits. 20,000 are serving life sentences, whatever that means in California now. Way to salt the earth on the way out.
