Ep 183 (3/8/2021): 21st Century Slavery - Student Loan Debt, part 1

Many parents and kids of college age are unaware that once they sign those loan documents to pay for their education, the government owns their income for decades at a time. On top of that, if the student picks a major that doesn’t have a good income basis after graduation, they are double stuck; poor income plus massive student loan debt equates to future despair. This is economic slavery and people sign up for it each year.

The obvious truth is that there is a better way, but people have to be ready to do what’s necessary to avoid this massive pitfall
