On June 14, 2006, two BNSF Railway freight trains collided head-on in Madera, California, due to one of the trains running a red light, injuring 5 people. One of the teams on the train, the one driving the red, is suspected of being drugged with cocaine. There was a camera on board one of the locomotives involved in the collision. That was Dash-9 44CW # 4479. The video of the collision is widely available on YouTube and related websites. During the filming, the southbound train engineer was seen jumping off the locomotive just before the collision. -Wikipedia Video Credit (The original footage of the Kismet derailment).
