5 Vegas AAA Cigar Review

This 5x56 stick features an oily, toothy very dark brown wrapper with a firm even pack, minimal veins, tight invisible seams and a sweet chocolate aroma. This particular sample that was sent in has a cracked wrapper near the cap, I will do my best to hold it together. First light reveals excellent smoke production, a very loose draw, medium body flavors of a dry tobacco and bit of bitterness with an oily mouth feel and long finish. The first third brings many different flavors out, changing slightly draw to draw. There is a tangy fruit note at the very start, followed by a rich dry chocolate, black pepper with a little zing, a deep earth and a big cedar flavor. The finish is thick and oily, but short just leaving some heat on the lips. Smoke output is great and on the thick side while the draw has snugged up a touch, performing very well. Towards the end of the first third a nice creamy flavor joined in. 30 minutes in at the 1/2 way point there are no flavor changes but the strength is ramping up a bit. Ending at 50 minutes, the last third continued the great flavor while keeping the strength down, while adding a great coffee note!
