How the George Floyd Killing Aftermath Affected Vermont in 2020. Will we have more after the latest tragedy? Last Year there was a thousand people protesting. Last Month's had about 100 people. I haven't changed the way I feel about it all. Tragedies keep occurring, though the media only covers CERTAIN shooters & CERTAIN victims. The system is broken, and remains so almost a year later. Chavin was a sacrifice to avoid real change.
I start this video with a message to the peaceful protestors. We hear u. Change takes time. We need to let justice run it's course. It's time for changes in the ways our police enforce & operate. CHANGE IS COMING.
My message to the rioters is Vermont doesn't play that way. You trespass on a Vermonter's farm in Westford... let's just say i wouldn't want to be u. Despite the abundance of Liberals, we are very pro 2nd amendment over here. Those that mean us harm better be prepared for a WAR.
Here in Burlington & Montpelier, we had our own peaceful protest, though the words exchanged w/ the police by Lead Protest Organizer, Harmony Edosmwan, were anything but peaceful.
I pray everything calms down, justice is served, and no more people lose their homes, their businesses, or their life.
