Paint With Me: [Mermaid Tail] Real-Time Watercolor Tutorial Workshop - Beginners Tips #MerMay

In celebration of MerMay we are going to do a Mermaid Tail watercolor. For this tutorial I'm using Art Philosophy / Prima Marketing watercolor paints as well as metallic watercolors from the same company. This is a real-time tutorial where you can join me as you do your own piece. So, let's get started on bringing this scale to life.

_ Watercolor Paper – I use Canson XL 140lb / 300g
_ Watercolor Brushes – Round – 1 Large & 1 Medium – Fine Tip
_ Green Zig Memory – Dual Tip
_ Uni-Ball UM 153 Signo Broad Point Gel Pen

Watercolors Colors Used:

Use What You Have. For best results, use professional grade watercolors. I Used the below watercolors for this watercolor tutorial.

2. Art Philosophy / Prima Marketing – Plus their Metallics Set That Includes – Green, Gold and Copper

Make It Your Own: Feel free to pick your own colors. One Light-tone, one Mid-tone and one Dark-tone in the same color family. Then see what you get. Each of our projects will be different, but similar.
