At the age of 15 he saved a family of 6 from their burning house on his paper route. Curtis was named "Newspaper Boy of the Year". He began The Guardian Angels which now has chapters in over 100 cities in 13 countries. He believes the safety of our citizens is the most important job of any official and their motto is "We Dare to Care". We all must take an active role in our communities.
