Mittleider garden greenhouse tour - April 26, 2021

Today we take you on a tour through our greenhouse where we grow a Mittleider garden. It has been about three weeks since our last tour, you can see that video to gauge the growth in the first link below this description.

We have unseasonably late freezing temps this year. Those cold temps have dealt the non hardy crop varieties a bit of a fit in our Mittleider garden inside the greenhouse. The growth rate for those plants has been slow. The cold hardy crops are doing well and we are already eating off the kale. This week we will begin to eat secondary edibles off of brussel sprouts, cabbage, broccoli and cauliflower.
