Luke 11:2-4
And He said to them, “When you pray, say: ‘Father, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. ‘Give us each day our daily bread. ‘And forgive us our sins, For we ourselves also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation.’”

• The disciples asked Yeshua to teach them how to pray. He recited what has become known as “the Lord’s Prayer.” While there is nothing wrong in praying the exact same prayer, what Yeshua taught them were main topics of prayer. He taught them to pray about God’s holiness, kingdom expectation, provision, forgiveness and direction. These five topics will help us navigate through our day, as we have an intimate relationship with the living God of the universe. The last thing Yeshua wanted was for us to memorize that prayer and recite it as a good luck charm or a superstitious formula.
