30 min Yin Yoga Full Class for Upper Back Knots - Beginner Yoga Stretch
Hi yogis and welcome to my channel!
This practice has the intention to provide relief to those also suffering from tightness, tension, pain and knots in the upper back. If you sit at a desk for long periods of time you might have experienced this before.
I do this sequence all the time if I feel tightness in my back coming up and it always helps a lot. The more regularly you do this, the more you are going to relieve this tension. You might need a block and a blanket for this class :)
What is Yin Yoga?
Yin Yoga is a meditative practice that aims to balance out the yang energy in our lives. Although Yin Yoga uses many of the same poses as Hatha or Vinyasa yoga, the poses focus on the connective tissues of the body, such as fascia, tendons, and ligaments, rather than the muscles.
There are 3 primary principles of Yin Yoga:
1. Find your edge
2. Be still
3. Hold the pose
