The world’s most expensive canine ever sold was purchased in China in 2014 for a whopping $1.95 million. The dog was a Tibetan Mastiff that reportedly had lion’s blood in its ancestry. Most of us wouldn’t think of paying such a price for a pet. But when it comes to getting what we want, some of us are willing to spend thousands of dollars to get the pup of our dreams. And just like everything else we buy, a lot of what a dog costs has to do with supply and demand.
