The chemical weapons watchdog's move to strip Syria of its voting rights over alleged breaches was slammed by Russia's envoy to the OPCW, Alexander Shulgin. The organization claims there are 'reasonable grounds to believe' Syria violated the Chemical Weapons Convention, which the country strongly denies. Russia's envoy to the organization also questioned these allegations.
