pilotcar.tv™ - Crane Beam Superloads

We escorted these crane beam superloads from the weigh station in Danbury, CT to Senesco Marine in North Kingstown, RI. It was a two day trip starting at 8pm with State Police escort. We stopped overnight at the RI line on US-6 and continued the following day. These loads were legal height, 159'11" long and weighed in at 129k lbs. It's interesting to see the steerable rear axles crab along sideways to make some turns.

These loads were moved by Transport Bellemare Int. and Patriot Certified Pilot Cars LLC provided the lead pilot cars.
