This unit is Made In USA - Manufactured in Texas

The Larson Electronics MPD-HD2-BSB-DE30YT-FZ-1.X02-6.X01-M1 Hazardous Location Portable Power Distribution converts three-phase 480V AC electrical current into three-phase 208Y/120V AC in Class I, Division 2 rated sites. This unit provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 480V AC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power.

Portable Power Distribution Purpose and Use:
The MPD-HD2-BSB-DE30YT-FZ-1.X02-6.X01-M1 temporary power distribution system gives operators the ability to power their 120 volt equipment from a single system. On the primary side, operators connect three-phase 480 volt line-in power using 150' of 6/3 AWG SOOW cord. On the secondary side, operators may access seven hazardous location receptacles for 120V equipment.

Operation: A 150-foot 6/3 AWG SOOW line-in cord brings three-phase 480V power to the primary side of the system, which contains one 50-amp 3-pole 480V Class I, Division 2 molded case circuit breaker, and passes power to the transformer. The NEMA rated 30KVA Class I, Division 2 transformer converts three-phase 480V to 208Y/120V and passes the current to the secondary panel. The secondary side of the transformer feeds a NEMA rated Class I, Division 2 83.3-amp, three-phase 208Y/120V main lug only panel. The hazardous location secondary panel contains one 30-amp 1-pole 125V Class I, Division 2 main circuit breaker protecting one 30-amp HLX-MXH-30A-125V-2P3W-R 125V Class I, Division 2 receptacle and six 20-amp 1-pole 125V Class I, Division 2 main circuit breakers protecting six 20-amp HLX-MXH-20A-125V-2P3W-R 125 125V Class I, Division 2 receptacles.
