Microchip Implants, Data Tracking & The Future of Technology

It’s probably no surprise to anyone, but news came out recently about the Pentagon working on a microchip implant that can tell you (or them) about abnormalities in your bloodstream.

This was a DARPA project which was designed for use in the military to protect soldiers from biological warfare, and now they are talking about its usefulness in the private sector.

The future of this technology has massive privacy and tracking implications and is one more step into the direction of being able to monitor everything we say, do, and now feel.

Technology is a double-edged sword. The benefits of technology can’t be understated, but the willingness and ability for big business and big government to use this technology for personal gain should concern us all.
