A Ginger Can: Make seaweed soup (miyuk guk, 미역국)

Join me as I show that even a ginger can make great tasting, and super healthy, seaweed soup. This soup has a lot of traditional roots in Korea. Not only is it served on every birthday, it is the first thing given to new mothers to help build up vitamins and nutrients. The instructions are simple and the ingredient list is small. Below is what you need:

Seaweed (miyeok in Korean, also known as ito-wakame)
Half a pound of sirloin -or- (in this video) 1.5-2 cups of chopped seafood mix
Dried boiled anchovies (largest you can find)
Dried kelp
Garlic
Fish sauce
Soy sauce (they use a special soy sauce for soups, if you can't find it regular works)
Sesame oil
Water
