Blue Fusion snare drum demo

I designed and built this snare drum as an evolution of the Slingerland Spitfire into a 4x14 wood shell form.The 10-ply shell thickness and four vent holes yield rim shots of extraordinary penetration while the uniform tension afforded by the use of 12 lugs enables superb sensitivity for ghost notes.

The drum has a baseball bat internal tone control, a Dunnett strainer and Sonor adjustable butt, four ½ inch air holes with threaded grommets, triple flange hoops, and a 24-wire steel snare.
