3575, Dems To Introduce Supreme Court Packing Bill, 3575
Good morning, I’m still reporting on the coup.
What would better signify a coup d’état of the U.S. government than packing the U.S. Supreme Court because that was the last arm of government that might possibly block unconstitutional legislation?
So, the dynamic dems and their sleepy leader announced yesterday that later today they will introduce legislation to expand the court with 4 new justices.
The legislation finds Dems in the House of Representatives climbing over each other to be the first in line to appease the farthest reaches of the left corner of the Democrat universe because only days ago, jumpin’ Joe Biden announced that he has created by executive order, a commission to study the pros and cons of packing the U.S. Supreme Court, and just how many new judges it would take to provide an iron-clad, forever dictatorship.
The Supreme Court has had nine justices since 1869. Before that, the number ranged from 5 to 10 with no guidance provided by the U.S. Constitution.
Biden’s new commission will consist of 36 members – no doubt no Trump supporters will be allowed – and will issue a report 180 days after their first public meeting, which has not yet been scheduled.
With one justice from San Francisco, another from Washington D.C., one from New York, NY, and one from Seattle, Democrats will have an equitable national distribution of the new judicial power and have carefully calculated that they may be able to turn the 6-3 majority the stodgy, play-by-the-rules Republicans worked so hard to achieve for decades into a shiny new 7 to 6 Democrat advantage. Because if there is one lesson the Dems have learned in the last year, if you can’t win playing fair, you just might be able to cheat, then change the rules of the game.
Neither Biden, nor Harris dared to comment on whether or not they would support such a dramatic move during their campaigns.
According to yesterday’s Washington Times, Mike Davis, president of the conservative Article III Project, leftish lawmakers trying to push the court expansion should be ashamed of themselves. But in this power grab, no.
“Packing the Supreme Court would be a declaration of war that could not be undone. President Biden and Democrats in Congress should tread extremely carefully. Packing the Supreme Court is a red line they must not cross.”
This morning, respected professor of law at George Washington University, Johathan Turley – no Trump supporter - commented on the pending legislation:

Thank goodness, the bottom line here is that this will take 60 votes to pass the United States Senate, and I don’t think that is going to happen.
This will go down in the minds of the vast majority of Americans as just another Biden/Obama communist over-reach. And that’s not going to bode well in the coming mid-term election.
I’m still reporting from just outside the citadel of world freedom. Good day.
