Are you potentially "killing the potential for" long term gains by doing things in the short term that are incompatible with them?

I use as an example, Marjorie Taylor Greene, doing cross-fit.

MAYBE she WON'T tear a ligament, damage a muscle, or destroy a joint. The again, maybe she WILL.

Some things you do in the short term may SEEM LIKE great ideas. I can tell you first hand, there are enough risks in things you don't intend.

That doesn't mean, "Don't take risks." It just means, "Be DARNED SURE THEY'RE LIKELY TO BE WORTH IT."

This is the discussion on today's edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

When I'm able to complete the companion article on the Kurt's Religion and Politics blog, I'll post a link to it here.
