Tony Katz Today: The NCAA Is Actively Anti-Women

On This Episode:

- President Biden wants to withdraw all US troops in Afghanistan troops by September 11th.

- Vice President Kamala Harris is in charge of border response and still hasn’t gone to the border. The White House coordinator on the border, Roberta Jacobson, stepped down.

- CBS’ 60 Minutes ran a story that accused Florida Governor Ron DeSantis of a pay to play scheme with Publix. It was a lie. they have not retracted it or shown any remorse.

- The Steak-umms twitter account took Neil deGrasse Tyson to task over his nonsense platitudes about science.

- Reports were coming out about a shortage of ketchup, the people at Red Gold Ketchup disagree. Bonus: we put an end the ketchup on a hot dog debate.

- Will Smith and Apple have moved the production of their film, Emancipation, out of Georgia because of the voting rights law. Which means neither Tim Cook or Will Smith have ever read Georgia's voting law.

The Big Story:

The NCAA is actively anti-women. Period. They are considering pulling events and championships from states that have laws that bar transgender women from competing in sports.

The NCAA is wrong and engaged in bigotry. Any Governor that is faced with this outright bullying by the NCAA should call the NCAA on their bluff and send them on their way.
