Oil Painting Time-lapse: Vernal Trinity

Let's take a break from reality just a bit, and imagine a tree unlike any seen before, with three trunks twisting together into one. It is early spring and our tree's magenta flowers are just starting to bud. A vine is clinging to this tree, and sporting one large red and yellow flower. This tree sits in the middle of a lush field of fresh grass whose small white wild flowers are being inexplicably pulled into it.

This painting took me over 6 hours to paint, and you can watch it all in a little over 4 minutes!
