I get asked all the time if a certain bass has a "tight" B string or if instead it's dull, lifeless and "floppy." I put this video together to hopefully answer that question on at least a couple of basses for everyone. We start with a made in the USA Carvin LB75 active neck through 5 string 35" scale bass. It's compared to a G&L Tribute series (import) L-2500 34" inch scale bass. Both basses are recorded using the same patch on my Zoom G1XOn guitar processor (it's actually a patch with a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier sim :) Hope you enjoy and use the poll at the end to vote for your favorite. I know mine but I'm not going to share that at the moment.
