Heather Hill here with Texas Micro Farms encouraging everyone to grow their own Salad Greens. It's so easy to buy some soil and buy some seeds and the plant a terrarium full of salad greens. Today we used Red Russian Kale, Nero Di Toscana aka Dino Kale, Evergreen Hardy White Bunching Onions, Italian Red of Florence Bunching Onions, Guardsman Scallions, London Springs Lettuce Mix, Calypso Cilantro, Red Kitten F1 Smooth Leaf Spinach, Blooms-dale Savoy, Simpsons Black Seeded Lettuce, Dill Bouquet, English Thyme, Italian Dark Green Flat Parsley, Rosemary, Ford-hook Giant, and Ruby Red Rhubarb Swiss Chard. All of these vegetables can be cut and come again veggies. You trim them right out of the bowl and eat a few leaves a day for the optimum health. Better tan taking a vitamin everyday because the vitamins in the lettuce become bio available to you immediately. You can find these and other tips on my Facebook page under Texas Micro Farms, or on my Youtube of the same name. Always check both sites for the most latest information on what is going down in The Great State of Texas! Ciao ben
