Today the weather is perfect for a 100 mile VFR flight from Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (KBZN) to Deer Lodge-City-County Airport (38S). The elevation at Bozeman is 4,473 above sea level, and Deer Lodge City is slightly uphill at an elevation of 4,693. After takeoff, we'll be heading to the MANNI NDB (Non-Directional Beacon) and then down to the RANCR intersection the TEERX intersection, over the HIA and CPN VOR's, and then heading north through the ZISON and AYUNO intersections until finally landing at runway 31 at Deer Lake City.
