Justice Thomas is Looking to Stick it to Big Tech With the Opinion Penned on Trump's Twitter

Justice Clarence Thomas has been looking for a reason to replace/repeal/reform Section 230 of the Communications Act for a long while now. Penning an opinion in October of 2020 as to what kind of things need to be looked at in order for a lawsuit be considered in the Supreme Court. With the opinion penned today in a dismissal of a suit regarding blockings and features on President Trump's obliterated Twitter profile, we have a glimpse as to how far Thomas is looking to go.

The comparison to Phone Companies or Electric Companies is apt when discussing the power and influence Big Tech has. Justice Thomas believes that we are approaching a point where if Section 230 is not fit for purpose, perhaps the way forward is regulation and clarification to the vague 'Terms of Service'. One rule for everyone subject to the terms and services of the United States and the First Amendment. It's better than what is going on now.
