The Legend of Maradona

Remembering one of the all time greats of the game.
The 1986 world cup in which Sir Maradona had the world at his feet. The match against England, in which he scored the hand of God goal. But right after that in the same match he dribbled past 7 defenders and scored what is widely regarded as the goal of the century. Fantabolous.
Then there was the final against West Germany in which again he showed strategy as he went to receive the corner kick and took away about 3 defenders with him. This I think left Burushagga free to kick in the goal. His presence on the field was always vitally felt.
That dribbling, that speed, that ball control, that acceleration is just the dream of many footballers.
Sir Diego Armando Maradona passed away at the age of 60. Played in 4 World Cups. Won 1986 World Cup and Golden Ball. Won 9 club titles with Boca Juniors (1), Barcelona (3) and Napoli (5).
But above all that won many hearts because of the style of play.
Paying respects to the great Legend. May his soul always rest in peace.
