Nurturing abandoned baby red squirrel

Typically, squirrels have two litters each year, one in the spring and one in the fall.

This baby red squirrel was found with its siblings at the base of a tree, seemingly abandoned for almost 24 hours. They are now being nurtured by Salthaven volunteers who are picking up where mom left off.
