Three magnificent male lions feeding on a buffalo at sunrise in Lower Zambezi

The three male lions from the Old Mondoro/ Chiawa area of Lower Zambezi National Park found by our guide Marshal just a few minutes from Old Mondoro Bush Camp, filmed just a short while after they had successfully hunted an adult buffalo and her calf. These lions are the dominant male coalition of Lower Zambezi National Park and are known as Blackie, Blondie and Robbie.
This was the final game drive of our three days staying at Old Mondoro Bush Camp before moving on to Chiawa Camp. Filmed using a Canon EOS 80D with a Canon 100-400 mm lens.
