20210402 Special Day Day - The Daily Summation

So, you've decided you're going to celebrate National Grapefruit Month in February? KNOCK YOURSELF OUT!

As for me, you'll forgive that I have NO intention to do likewise.

In fact, I'm not even a celebrant of days like Christmas for my own sake (I'll do things like that for my children).

I'm just not intending to concern myself with the observance of "special times" as such. You may hear me talk about such things in passing, but people get ABSOLUTELY WRAPPED UP in things like Saint Patrick's Day. I never DID do that, and I'm not about to "pick up that habit" at this late stage (being nearly sixty).

I'm not trying to disparage anybody, just stating a preference on my own part.
