The Army Reserve's 38th Regional Support Group conducted annual training earlier this month as part of MOBEX'21 at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. JBMDL has been identified by Forces Command as a Mobilization Force Generation Installation. The 99th Readiness Division deputy commander serves as the MFGI officer-in-charge. Army Reserve and National Guard units are task organized to establish the Mobilization Support Force in order to provide administrative and logistics support during post mobilization activities required for mobilizing units. MOBEX’21 will allow JBMDL to validate its capability to meet its mission for rapid expansion within established timelines should the MFGI platform be activated.
