Mooching rods and Alewives for Spring Salmon - Lake Ontario Salmon fishing

On Sunday June 16th I headed out for my first Salmon trip of the season. While launching my boat I noticed literally thousands of bait fish breaking the surface, some looked like they were dying as the fluttered their tails on the surface. I quickly grabbed my net and scooped about a dozen freshly deceased Alewives. Once I got set up on the lake, I quickly rigged two of the alewives on Anchovie teaser heads.... and the rest is history, enjoy!
