Alpha Co. Tanks Deactivation B-Roll

U.S. Marines with Alpha Company, 2d Tank Battalion, 2d Marine Division (MARDIV), participate in a deactivation ceremony on Camp Lejeune, N.C., March 25, 2021. Alpha Co. served 2d MARDIV for nearly 80 years and participated in numerous conflicts and operations throughout that period. The deactivation is in accordance with the force-wide modernization efforts that will make the USMC more competitive to fight a peer or near-peer threat. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Lance Cpl.
