Marines and Sailors with Marine Forces Reserve execute restriction of movement (ROM) operations at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Jacksonville, Fl., March 15, 2021. Recruits attending training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) Parris Island first spend two weeks in a ROM status to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Formed in April of 2020, Task Force Commitment continues to facilitate ROM operations a year into the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure MCRD Parris Island safely executes its mission of making Marines.
