❄️ DAY ONE: ICE AGE TRAIL

How long will it take to hike 1,147 miles? I don't know... you're coming with me, segment-by-segment.

Dry weather but cold, lots of wildlife to see, mostly foul, and ending the day with my total distance reading 25.8 miles with a 15lb backpack.

Muskrats were plentiful, building their cute little homes along the trail...I captured them with my eyes and heart, not with the camera.

Speaking of camera, I did not bring a stabilizer or anything else but iPhone to keep things light and simple. When you’re battling the weather with weary limbs, it’s important to focus on the moment.
