Do Diabetics Need Fiber?

I've been to meetings ran by ADA-approved diabetes "educators", where they talk on and on about FIBER. They say that high-fiber is great, and we need to eat plenty because it'll help keep our blood sugars down.

But.. does it really? Is all of that fiber necessary at all? And why are the experts telling us to eat so much? Below, I explain this myth, why it's wrong, and my thoughts on why it's being pushed on us.
