A Donkey and A King

2,000 years ago, Jesus came riding into Jerusalem on a donkey. He didn’t come riding in on a White Horse with a sword ready to take on the Roman Empire. He didn’t come riding in on solid gold. Jesus came riding in on a donkey as the people threw down palm branches for the donkey to trot on. But why? Does it even matter?
