Male Infertility Threatens Human Race, 3560

Good afternoon, I’m still reporting on the health of the human race.
It's not looking good for the human race . According to a new book “countdown: how our modern world is threatening sperm counts, altering male and female reproductive development and imperiling the future of the human race ,” the sperm count of average Western countries has fallen by 59% between 1973 and 2011 and testosterone levels in males are decreasing 1% each year .

When you add it all up the global fertility rate has dropped 50% between 1960 and 2016 with the US birth rate currently 16% below where it needs to be to sustain the population .

While girls are experiencing early puberty, women are experiencing declining egg quality and more miscarriages.
Sperm counts per male are also dropping precipitously. According to fertility scientist shawna Swan, author of the book:

“if you look at the curve on sperm count and projected forward -- which is always risky-- it reaches 0 and 2045, meaning the median man would have essentially no viable sperm .”
