Current administration is petitioning the SCOTUS to support a government gun grab. Based on a phone call from a disgruntled spouse, police broke into a man's house and took his guns. After being cleared by mental health and law enforcement (no diagnosis, no charges) the cops gave the guns back, right? No, they kept them. The case in from the SCOTUS now and the current administration believes this is OK.

The party of racism thinks the Filibuster is racist. Robert Byrd agrees. Eliminate the Filibuster and the US becomes a one party state, which is one short step of a authoritarian regime. The Republican leadership are timid mice, afraid to stand up to this. I am officially depressed about the state of affairs.
