The problem with being independent

We live in a world of seemingly never ending crisis!

Pete and I want to remind you that you have the power to change your experience at any moment.

Your thoughts create your own reality.

I mean literally!

The things you choose to focus on determine how you perceive the world .......and the experiences you have as a result…

Focusing on what you want, not on what you don’t want.

Yes the world can seem like a terrible place

But when you choose to focus on the positive things, you can actually see the kindness in people, you can see their inner light...

And you can feel nurtured by the sun or the trees....

Now, some people are successful in creating a great life, and others aren’t.

They remain stuck in misery..

What is the difference?

I believe it comes to your level of commitment.

I often see how people give up too soon.

People simply give up!

They put up with aches and pains, or an abusive relationship, you name it.

I want you to be like me and never give up on yourself.

Find a way to transform!

We all go off course at times, but it is about getting back on track and staying committed NO MATTER WHAT.

We all need help.

One thing Pete and I didn’t get for a long time what that ASKING FOR HELP, was the most intelligent, most important things you could ever do in life.

Pete and I are both tarred with the same brush.

If we want something, we make it happen. But now we ask for help, and this has been our biggest game changer in our lives.

When I migrated at age 19, my dad’s parting message for me at the airport was: don’t expect us to ever come and visit you in Tasmania, that is out of the question.”

So I took that message to heart and realized that Pete and I had to make it on our own.

And Peter didn't like some of my projects, so I had to do them on my own.

So I became fiercely independent. I was always proving to myself that I could do whatever I put my mind to, mostly without help.

The reality was, this was not a good thing for me, or for Pete and the children.

It was only later in life that I learnt that having support and assistance is one of the best things you could ever do in your life.

Pete and I feel very supported now, and we realize that help and assistance is critical.

No one gets anywhere without a team.

No one ever made it to the top of Mt Everest without a team, without Sherpas, coaches or support.

It is not a sign of weakness to ask for support.

It is a sign of intelligence, strength, good technique, good strategy.

And the journey from the head to the heart is even more treacherous than climbing Mt Everest.

Yet this is our sacred mission.

So don’t let ‘not asking for help’ run your life.

Click on the video below to see how Pete and I radically changed our lives once we started looking and asking for help.

Just because you have always done it your own way, doesn’t mean you have to continue to do so!

How could you dramatically transform your life?

By answering these questions:

1 what irritates you ( in your life), or what keeps you in overwhelm

2 what do you need to do to fix it.

3 who could you ask for help, who could assist you, handle it for you or give you information?

4 how do you stop yourself from asking? How have you stopped yourself from asking up until now?

5 what is the possible benefit of asking?

6 when will you commit to asking? Put a date and a time.
Write it down.

There is really never a good enough excuse to not get something done… there is always a way around it every obstacle and challenge if you only start asking!

So if you feel stuck or if you have a habit of complaining, NOW is the time to have a good hard look at those 6 questions and take action.

Pete and I are here to help you.
