Biden's 1T bill plans summarized by ASL Patriot Broadcast

The economic package, according to the New York Times and WaPo, will reportedly cost $3 trillion dollars. It’s broken into two parts. One focused on infrastructure, and the other focused on other domestic priorities such as growing the newly expanded child tax credit for several years.

The first part is expected to focus on infrastructure spending. Documents suggest it will include nearly $1 trillion in spending on the construction of roads, bridges, rail lines, ports, electric vehicle charging stations, and improvements to the electric grid and other parts of the power sector. It also includes funding for repairing and upgrading buildings, safety improvements, schools infrastructure, and $100 billion for schools and education infrastructure. They want to invest in better internet, 5g system and on clean energy deployment and the development. It includes money for proving more broadband access, advanced training for millions of workers, and one million affordable and energy-efficient housing units. The infrastructure component also includes $400 billion in spending to combat climate change, including $60 billion for infrastructure related to green transit and $46 billion for climate-related research and development. The plan also would aim to make electric-vehicle charging stations available across the country. The measure would also include $200 billion for housing infrastructure, including $100 billion to expand the supply of housing for low-income Americans. The second part include universal prekindergarten and free community college tuition and national paid leave. The package also would dramatically expand spending on child care, and extend for several years the expansion of the child tax credit recently signed into law for just one year as part of the stimulus plan. Biden campaigned on raising the corporate tax rate from 21 percent to 28 percent to help cover a portion of the cost. Many Corp’s are not happy with this plan. On top of this, remember when Biden said he would only increase tax for people earning 400,000 or more. Now they are “floating” the idea that they are changing the terminology from 400k individual to 400k total married. This means it’s now down to 200k individual like Biden teased you at. Will Biden follow through and risk making more people mad at him for breaking his promises. We shall see...
