BackGround Holding on "Growing Up and Other Lies" - Manhattan, New York City

In the background holding area on "Growing Up and Other Lies" in the basement area of a church. When I lived in New York City, I worked as an extra aka BackGround (BG) actor for film and television. This was one of the early background acting jobs and we're in holding (where the extras hang out in between takes). This holding area, like many of them, happened to be at a church, in the basement, stairs. One of the neat thing about being an extra is all the places and interesting locations and holding areas, that you see around the New York City area. It's like being part of a fun exclusive club where most of the people are not snobby. I was pretty excited about being there, so I'm walking around taking a video which, in some cases is a no-no. But everyone was nice, nonetheless.
