Tokyo, March 20, 2021 - A very strong earthquake - resulting in a tsunami warning - was recorded this morning in Japan in the Ishinomaki area off the northeast coast. The earthquake, whose magnitude was currently quantified as 7.2 on the Richter scale. According to preliminary information, the epicenter of the earthquake was located in particular about sixty kilometers off the coast of the city of Sendai, in the prefecture of Miyagi.
