Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) workers and active-duty nurses with U.S. Army Medical Command prepare vaccines for administration at the Fair Park Community Vaccination Center (CVC) in Dallas, March 9, 2021. MEDCOM and U.S. Army Soldiers with 1st Battalion, 63rd Armored Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade, 1st Infantry Division support FEMA in providing COVID-19 vaccine relief to underserved communities in the Dallas County area. FEMA and MEDCOM personnel receive the vaccines and prepare them prior to distribution to the vaccination lanes at the CVC. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing continued, flexible Department of Defense support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency as part of the whole-of-government response to COVID-19.
