The gusty winds today will subside tonight around 5-15 mph with gusts up to 25 hours initially, but turning calm by the morning hours Friday. Overnight lows will be in the lower 20s with mostly clear skies. High pressure moves in on Friday. Highs will be in the mid to upper 40s for most area. A 50 degree reading west of the Fox Valley is not out of the question. Mostly sunny skies will prevail. We rise up into the lower to mid/upper 50s during the weekend with more sunshine as the high pressure shifts east and we get in the warmer air return flow. Chances of rain return for the first few days next work week with highs in the lower 50s Long range temperature forecasts are keeping highs general slightly above average through the end of March. The average high temperature by the end of the month is 46.
