Beauty Bricks and Slips on Ramapo Mt Orange Trail

Hello again!!! In today’s video we start you off with the orange trail of the #RamapoMountainStateForest. It was a rare fall day with extremely high temperatures around 80 degrees. We were dressed for cooler weather and so were extremely hot and of course didn’t carry #water. We were greeted with #warning signs about #coyotes and #rattlesnakes. Thankfully we were ok and had a great time finding a #secretive path with gorgeous views of a #lake. It was amazing and so we continued on to enjoy a few overlooks, a picnic area, and even stumbled through a #camp with some #logcabins. The leaves made it nearly impossible to see where the path was without the markers. The #camp saw us go from orange to a white trail, even had a dam with a lake and mini man-made waterfall. Lastly , we did a little walking around the camp area until the white trail met the yellow trail that left the camp area to head back toward the parking. Even though it was mostly walking through tall grass terrain, we were able to see remnants of old #millstones and cross a little #stream. Hope you enjoy!
